In this tour you are taken on a thirty minute bus ride to the marvelous Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area, where you will have 45 minutes to explore the area.
This area includes the Mendenhall Glacier Visitors Center, which has new limited operation hours starting 2025. If you are curious whether your tour will include time to visit, feel free to email us about your specific departure date and time.
Then you will head out for two hours on the water, departing from Auke Bay Harbor, where you will get a chance to see a whale, and maybe some other marine life if you are lucky.”
