Whale Watching Adventure

This three hour tour starts downtown at the cruise ship docks, and our driver will give you a narrated tour through town on the way to Auke Bay Harbor. Don’t forget to look for eagles on the bus ride, and keep your eyes peeled for a bear, as they like to wander our neighborhoods.

Once in Auke Bay, you will board one of our fleet of jet boats, and set out on the adventure! Our experienced captains will navigate the waters surrounding Juneau to take you to the place where you will have the best chance of seeing a whale.

While on the water, you will have an opportunity to see many other species of marine mammal. It takes the sharpest eyes to see a harbor seal or a sea lion, so feel free to ask our naturalists to keep an eye out for you!”
